Our CEO and renowned director Jorge Alí Triana is preparing a new version of Cita a Ciegas (Blind Date), a play from the Argentinian author Argentino Mario Diament with the Repertorio Español Theater in Manhattan (New York), where his previous work Pantaleón y las Visitadoras was succesfully presented.
The play tells the story of a blind man sitting in a park that becomes the hub of a story of encounters and coincidences that revolve around love. Five characters meet by chance and causality to continue the eternal pursuit of love, while flirting with tragedy, hubris, secrets and the inevitable, in an atmosphere clearly inspired by Jorge Luis Borges.
Our dear Jorge Alí will travel to the Big Apple soon for casting selection and rehearsals of the play, which will be released next October. Stay tuned with Dramax for more information about this event.
